The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Ville Parravicini (Erba (CO), Italy).
For any privacy-related request: privacy@villeparravicini.com
The website https://www.villeparravicini.com collects and processes personal data in the manner, for the purposes and on the legal bases set out below.
2a. Navigation data (collected automatically)
Our systems automatically acquire certain data required in order to transmit the web pages: IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access, pages visited. This data is not associated with identified users and is kept for no longer than 30 days for security purposes.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2b. Contact form
If you complete the contact form, we collect your name, email address and the message you send, for the sole purpose of replying to your enquiry. This data is kept for 12 months and is not passed on to third parties, other than the providers who process it on our behalf (§4).
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
2c. Website usage statistics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics tool that uses neither cookies nor persistent identifiers and carries out no user profiling. We collect only aggregated, anonymous statistical data (pages visited, approximate duration of the visit, aggregated geographic origin, device and browser type). The IP address is used by the service solely at the moment of the visit in order to compute those statistics in aggregated form; it is not stored in a cookie, nor otherwise retained in a form that would allow an individual visitor to be identified.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) · as the data is aggregated and anonymous, this processing does not require the user’s prior consent.
2d. Real Weddings · account, review and photographs
Couples who were married at Ville Parravicini may create an account and publish the story of their wedding. For this purpose we process: the email address used to sign in (authentication is passwordless, by means of a temporary link sent by email), the couple’s names, the wedding date, any rating given and the text of the review, the wedding photographs uploaded · including professional photographs · and the details of the suppliers credited by the couple (see §2e).
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the dedicated box when the content is submitted.
Publication. Every submission is moderated by the controller before publication. Once approved, the wedding page · the couple’s names, the date, the review and the photographs · is publicly accessible at https://www.villeparravicini.com, can be indexed by search engines and is included in the site’s sitemap. Public content may be copied, republished or cached by third parties, beyond our control.
Retention. No fixed period is set: the data remains in use and published until consent is withdrawn or the account is deleted.
Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand, using the “Delete account” button available in your account area. The action is immediate and irreversible: it erases the account, the review, the uploaded photographs and the supplier details, and removes the page from publication. Alternatively, you may write to privacy@villeparravicini.com. Any copies already archived by search engines or third-party services are outside our control and may take some time to disappear.
2e. Suppliers credited by the couple
On their wedding page, couples may credit their own suppliers (photographer, florists, wedding planner and others) by giving a name, a category and one contact detail: an email address, an Instagram profile or a website. The supplier’s name is published as a link to the contact detail provided. Where that contact detail is an email address, we may also use it to let the supplier know that they have been credited: the email contains the supplier’s name, the couple’s names and the link to the published page. A supplier who does not wish to receive such messages, or who asks for their name to be removed, may write to us at the address given in §1.
Legal basis: consent of the couple (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for the publication of the credits; the legitimate interest of the controller and of the supplier themselves in being informed of the credit (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for sending the message.

We rely on a limited number of providers who process data on our behalf as processors (Art. 28 GDPR):
Cloudflare and Resend are United States companies: the data may be processed on infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area, as may the aggregated, anonymous statistical data processed through Umami. Where that is the case, the transfer takes place under the safeguards provided for in Chapter V GDPR: standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) and, where the provider is certified under it, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

The site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection and data submitted through the forms is transmitted in encrypted form. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it on to third parties for commercial, advertising or profiling purposes. Data is disclosed only to the providers who process it on our behalf (§4) and · limited to the supplier’s name, the couple’s names and the link to the page · to the wedding suppliers credited by the couple themselves (§2e).
